In 1887 a publication documented over 5000 types of apples. This was one of few that received the label of “Best”. The fruit is smaller but all accounts deem it to be an excellent apple worth trying!

Celestia is described as having 'a profusely aromatic and spicy flavor'
 
Why We Grow It:
This disease resistant tree is a rare selection that was though to have been lost. By growing this apple we can keep it alive. We are also excited to taste an apple that received such high praise!
