These 'Mystery apples truly are a mystery... because they have lost their tags! 
 
These are one of the other varieties that we have sold this year. Some may also be known varieties but are orchard grade (have an odd shape, are smaller because of rabbits having chewed them down, etc). 
 
You will receive an apple tree that we would happily grow in our own orchard, any questionable trees were left in the nursery to grow for another year. 
 
Whether you are looking to save a buck, or to feed some bucks in a deer area, these are a great option.  your tree will be disease resistant and will have good fruit, we simply don't know which of the good fruits it will be.

Fruit flavour:
Look up Priam, Wealthy, Liberty, and Freedom, it will likely be one of those apples but may also be Luna, Celestia, or Holstein.
 
Why We Grow It:
This is one of the most disease-resistant apple varieties that we have found. It is excellent for no-spray home orchards. It is also a great replacement for Mcintosh apples without the disease issues.
