This workshop is being hosted by Brigitte Bérubé on her farm in Eastern Ontario.
Buying fruit trees is expensive, and most nurseries don’t offer what you really need. Take control of your harvest with a grafting workshop that saves you money and gives you the best trees for your home orchard.
What you get:
- A gathering with people who have similar interests
- A skill that will allow you to make you own trees for the rest of your life
- One tree to take home and plant (more can be ordered)
- Instructions for grafting in the future including our preferred supplier for rootstock and scionwood (you'll learn what those are in the class!)
*Early registration has ended, attending with one tree is still $50, but additional trees cost a little more because we can no longer order more for our own nursery use.
ORDERING NOTE: SELECT LOCAL PICKUP FOR YOUR SHIPPING OPTION (otherwise it will tell you that it's $150 shipping)
The final tree list will be confirmed once payments are received and we order the materials for this calss, we currently hope to have:
Dexter Jackson (ripens mid August)
William's Pride (Ripens late August)
Prairie Sensation (Ripens mid September)
Freedom (Ripens late September)
Liberty (Ripens early October)
Frostbite (Ripens early October)
Liberty (Ripens Mid October)
Gold Rush (Ripens Late October) *Note: This is very late for our area, we have chosen to experiment with it because it is harvested late and is a great storage apple, it may be that they do not ripen in our area
