Bees in their new home.

Bee Swarm Removal

Give these bees a home!

1 hCustomer's Place

Service Description

A Swarm is a group of bees including at least one queen that has left their hive and are looking for a new place to call home. Swarms happen when bees run out of space in their hive. At this point additional queens will be bred to replace the queen who will leave with about half of the bees to establish a home elsewhere. The bees will fill their bellies with honey before this flight so they have energy for the flight as well as resources to make wax in their new home. This is a service that most beekeepers will do for free because they are usually easy and because the bees are non aggressive because they have nothing to defend. Swarms land on a resting spot like a branch of a tree and then send out scouts to find a new home. The goal of a swarm removal is to get there before the swarm moves into a place like someone's house. They can stay in one spot for as long as a week or as short as a few minutes. This is a free service, although I do gladly accept a tip to help cover my costs of fuel, housing the bees, etc. These are urgent so CALL TO SCHEDULE 613-803-9839
