In a world of
Timber Frameing
Our team at Eden's Refuge brings experience and a passion for timber framing to every project we undertake. We are dedicated to using only the highest quality materials and techniques to ensure the longevity and beauty of your structure.

All of our timbers are harvested from Ontario and are expertly crafted to meet our client's expectations. Our hand-oiled finishes provide a beautiful appearance that also protects against the elements year-round and is easy to maintain.
At Eden's Refuge, we specialize in crafting beautiful and timeless timber frames, perfect for your new home, cottage, addition, gazebo, barn, or even a "Micro-Barn" for urban homesteaders with less space or for those who don't need a 30x40' barn.
With our partnership with Trinity Timber Frames (Mallorytown), we can turn your dreams into reality with turnaround times from planning to completion starting at 1 month for some projects.
Choose Eden's Refuge for a timber framing project that will exceed your expectations in both functionality and beauty.

Tiny Yoga Cabin
This 8x12' cabin has tall ceilings and lots of window space including a patio door to make this clients yoga practice feel as close to nature as possible even when they have to be inside.
Lakeside Cabin
This was our first ever client project in partnership with Trinity Timber Frames. A custom "Square D" Log cabin with a timber framed loft. They wanted a rustic look so we finished it with live edge siding and trim. We also kept the rafter beams looking more natural with live edge timbers.

All of the logs for this project were selectively harvested by hand from the Trinity Timber Frames property (the new location for the Eden's Refuge Nursery).

Walk up on to the covered porch then step through the front door to a feeling of immense space even in a small cabin thanks to the 15' high vaulted ceiling. Turning around reveals the alternating-step ladder providing easy access up to the loft which demands relaxation as you look at the lake through the custom window.
